This policy explains how The Delmar Loop website and the Loop Passport mobile app collect, use, and protect your information — and the choices you have.
Everything in plain language, no legalese.
The Delmar Loop website is a static, informational site — it does not use analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies. The Loop Passport app collects the information needed to run your rewards account and show you nearby deals.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for targeted advertising.
This Privacy Policy applies to two services operated by or on behalf of The Delmar Loop:
The Loop Passport app is powered by Preffin, a product of Queritel Corp, as the platform provider. This policy covers information collected through both services.
Businesses listed on this site operate independently. Their own websites, payment systems, and apps are governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.
visittheloop.com is a static, informational website. It is designed to be browsed without an account, a login, or a tracking profile.
Loop Passport is a rewards app that lets you collect points at Loop businesses, redeem deals, and keep up with events. To do that, it needs a bit more information than the website.

We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited ways:
When you redeem a deal or engage with a business through the app, we share the minimum needed to honor that offer (for example, a redemption code or the fact that a deal was used). We do not hand businesses your personal contact details for their own marketing without your consent.
We may disclose information if required by law, to respond to valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of The Delmar Loop, our users, or others.
If The Delmar Loop or the Loop Passport program is involved in a merger, sale, or transfer of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We'll notify you if that happens.
This site uses a few third-party services to display content:
The Loop Passport app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, which have their own privacy policies governing downloads and purchases.
This website does not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies. The site does not create a browsing profile of you.
Some pages load third-party resources (map tiles, fonts) that may set their own technical cookies or logs — those are governed by the third parties' policies above. The Loop Passport app uses standard mobile identifiers and tokens rather than web cookies.
We keep information only as long as needed to provide the services and meet legal obligations:
If you delete your Loop Passport account, we'll delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
If you believe your Loop Passport account has been compromised, contact us right away.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. These commonly include:
To exercise any of these, email us at info@visittheloop.com with the subject line "Privacy Request".
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (including California, Virginia, Colorado, and others) may have additional rights such as opting out of certain data sharing or appealing a decision. We honor those rights. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
The website and Loop Passport app are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have, we'll delete it promptly.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make a material change to how we handle your information, we'll provide more prominent notice — for example, in the app or on this site.
